The Maltese Islands are located approximately 100km south of the most southern tip of Sicily and 300km east of the Tunisian coast. The archipelago is only a few hours flying time from most major European cities. The weather is good with an average of 5 to 6 hours sunshine in winter per day and 12 hours per day in summer. And don't worry about the language, as the official languages are both Maltese and English!
